Happy New Year from Vero Beach

This newbie would like to say hello and wish everyone a health and happy Olds new year! I am driving my second Olds, a '77 Omega Brougham I found on the internet at a dealer in Texas. With 33,000 original miles it was a great deal. Presently under the hood rests an anemic 231 ci V6 but on my engine stand rests a 72 455 from a Toro. If anyone has experiance with such a swap, I would appreciate some info on engine/trans mounts and headers. Talk to ya soon.

Welcome to CO. That engine swap has been done before and you should get a lot of help from members here.

Welcome to CO! Your 455 for a V6 sounds interesting, and a sneakypete to the guy sitting next to you on the strip (or at a red light?).

Welcome to CO

Sounds like a nice project car. Good luck with the build post pictures when you do the swap
