Happy to find everyone

hello all, my name is Rick Moreton and my father and I finally decided to rebuild the 70 rallye 350 that's been sitting in the garage for the last 2 decades or so.

i've been doing thread searches on the site for a couple weeks now, and it looks like y'all have a pretty tight knit community that's willing to help out - which isn't easy to find. we're going to have a lot of questions, so i hope everyone brought their thinking caps!

the car is in pretty rough shape, it's been sitting for about as long as i've been alive, but we're determined to make it work

my old man and i have the combined skills to get this thing back on the road (he's a paint and body guy, and i was a technician for some time), but we've never done a resto before, and really have no idea where to get started.

enough about me, check out some pictures of what we've got to start with. look forward to learning from everyone!

-rick

Welcome aboard Rick.
So what put the car in storage for so long? Nice to hear it's making its way back to life again. Take your time and do it right. I see the OAI hood sitting in the background. Are you planning to replace the intake/carb back to OEM?

Sweet valve covers! I've got the same ones, just recently put 'em on.
