Glad to be part of the club

Hi just joined the club I am working on a 1962 oldsmobile super 88 and I am looking for the orginal motor and tranny the motor is a 394 can anyone help me out

I'm not quite sure I understand. You're looking for THE motor and THE transmission that were originally in the car? Or are you just looking for ANY 394-and-transmission that would be correct for your car?

If it's the former, you're going to have to provide a bit more info. Otherwise, it's like coming on here and announcing that you lost a penny somewhere and can we help you find it.

Telling us that the engine was a 394 doesn't help. You might as well tell us that you're looking for wheels, and, as an added clue, they're round. All Oldsmobiles like yours had a 394.

where are you located? that may help people nearest you to respond. you won't want to ship a 394. i think that is the heaviest engine i have ever seen. if you are not to far from brazil Indiana, i have a 62 automatic transmission from a 62 Starfire that needs rebuilt.
