generator for a 1962 f-85
Your other option is to do what I did on my 62 and replace the generator and regulator with a 10SI alternator. I used the alternator bracket from a 63 (Skylark and F-85 brackets are the same) and the 10SI bolts right up. I had to get a different length belt, but other than that there were only two wires to connect.
As for other parts, it depends. Suspension parts are available from Kanter and NAPA (but are very expensive). Body and trim parts are nonexistent; good used is the only option there. Engine parts are easy, since the 215 was built by Rover until 2006. The one that surprised me was weatherstripping. Steele Rubber has all the rubber parts (even the tailgate weatherstrip for my wagon).
