gas tank

I have a Olds 88 Touring Sedan that I am getting ready to have towed to the junk yard. It is full of gasoline. Does anyone know how to get the gas out of the tank?

I use a plastic hand operated barrel pump with a peice of air hose on the pickup. An awl will punch a hole in tank to drain. I have drilled holes in tank to drain, but sparks could cause a major problem.

We've lost more than one Civil war relic hunter around here drilling out a cannon ball to disarm it. I'd siphon it out.

The BEST way is to restore the car to running condition and use the gas normally!

Use a brass punch to pierce a hole in the tank. No sparks.
