First timer

Hello there. I am new to the site and new to classic Oldsmobile’s. I bought my 71' 442 replica at an auction back in October and I am in the process of fixing all of the little things that don’t work. My first project is adjusting the original Q-Jet carb and choke so the engine will start better when cold. Then I need to replace the seals in the transmission because I have a bit of a leak and the previous owner used transmission sealer and it obviously didn’t work. All and all, it is a nice weekend car that looks great and runs pretty good too. I’m looking forward to picking everyone’s brain when I need help on something and I already have a few questions lined up.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks everyone. I'll probably be absorbing more knowledge than I can dish out to start…but hoping to be able to contribute one day!
