Exhaust Manifold Heat Shroud - 1970 Cutlass

Hello. I'm having a hell of a time locating (buying) an exhaust manifold heat shroud for my 70 Cutlass Supreme. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to CO. Probably Joe would have an answer to that one. Will refer him to this thread.

What size engine? Driver or passenger side? Are you looking for the exact 1970 one or would a different year that may have a different appearance work for you? I've got several in a box from 1968-72 vintage but will need to check and see the difference between the years if that's important to you. John

Hi John. It's a 350 v8 Rocket - 310 hp and the shroud would fit on the passenger's side. I'd like to maintain the correctness of the car so a 1970 would be preferable. Thanks for any information you can share.

Mike

I'll be out in the garage this afternoon Mike and I do know where that box is! I'll get some photos for you. John

Unfortunately, the only ones I've seen repro'd are for the big block cars. I'm afraid your only option will be to find a used one. Set up a search on ebay and it's pretty painless.

I believe this is the correct one, fits over a #4 manifold. If it looks good enough for you $10 plus shipping from Oregon. John

Fantastic! That appears to be the correct one. Thank you John. I'll forward you my address in a private message and we can shake out the method of payment.
