Excited but overwhelmed

Oh I'll need an alignment alright. I'm planning on replacing the tie rod ends, ball joints, and any bushings that need it. Hopefully the alignment shop won't be too far a drive from my shop. Oldstata, let me know what you find out...but no hurry.

Just a FYI , do your Own research on alignments to get a grasp on it. talk to several shop ask many question and pick the best one,so you can get exactly what you need. In. stead of how the tech wants to do it, some are very lazy or don't understand what there doing they just put it in specs and don't understand how they affect the car.
Just because there in spec doesn't mean they work togeather

Yeah, I have a guy I can trust and is quite the gearhead so it shouldn't be anything he hasn't dealt with before. Still, might take a couple tries to get it just right but it would be worth it.

That's great that you have a guy you can trust. I thought I did recently and did not have the best experience. Next time I will really have to grille these guys ahead of time as to what I want and not just to specs as said. Look up my alignment thread.
Anyways, good luck with your project.

I'll take a look at your thread. It's been some years since I did any reading on alignment. The guy I'll take it to does a lot of work on classic and modified cars. But nobody's perfect. I'll read up so I can discuss with him what I want.
