It identifies the engine type and displacement.

E '66 - '67 400 390925 442 engine

The E block is pretty rare, '66'67 only 400 CID, so, pretty much only in 442's. All short stroke sisters to the 425. No slouch.

It appears someone cloned a Cutlass with all the correct parts into a W30. That is a 66/67 E block 400, very good engine. I cant imagine someone would put a Cutlass trim tag on a real W30, although the rivits on your trim tag are not correct. Did you get any original documentation with the car? POP aka Protecto Plate? Any of the original dealer info, window sticker, original bill of sale? Build sheet?
