Door pins and bushings

I've got a 69 cutlass supreme I'm restoring. Got new dorman pins and bushings. Not much instruction but I saw a post on how to do it. Had anyone replaced theirs. I can't get the pin to go in. Anyone have any ideas? I did everything they said but just can't get the pin to go in

You need to get a dial caliper and measure the diameter of the pin and the I.D. of the installed bushings. It's possible that the wrong bushings were included in the kit or that the hole for the bushings was slightly undersize, forcing the bushing I.D. smaller. It's also possible that you created a burr on the bushing when you pressed them in. If the I.D. is small, you'll need a reamer to open them up.

Joe's already covered your question so I'll just chime in and say welcome and post some pics of your ride when you get a chance.
