....but have tremendous respect for the Olds crowd. While I haven't had an Oldsmobile in a couple of decades, you never know when one might cross into the driveway looking for a home and I'll need some assistance. Thanks!

welcome. i hope that there is an Oldsmobile near you calling your name.

i may need your help with a Mopar part. i have a dual snorkel air cleaner for a Mopar and have no idea what it is for. i have had this for at least 18 years and never investigated it.

No Mopar hatin' from this corner. I've never owned one (and even C-bodies are too damn expensive for me now) but I have always respected Chrysler engineering and performance. The right 60s C-body comes along, I would think seriously about it. I like non-letter 300s a LOT.

But you really need to find yourself an Oldsmobile. You may find out they have more in common with Mopar than you'd expect.

I still have my "Swinger" finder scrip on the wall - that was a cool car with the Slant 6 and aluminum slot mags.

Welcome to ClassicOldsmobile!

I love Molar too! I own a 1950 DeSoto S14 club coupe. Cool car. I have also always wanted a 1970 Challenger or a 1968 GTX. My wife really wanted a 68 Charger for her daily driver but I found my 442 first.

Out of curiosity, what made you join the site if you don't own an Olds? I came here looking for parts and just can't get enough. Everyone is so nice and helpful no matter what kind of car you drive. Lots of non model specific restoration advice too!

I'm just a car nut and have owned alot of different muscle cars, including some AMC's. Right now I'm down to just the Cutlass as I recently sold my Mopar. The 63 was a blast, how ever someone wanted it more than I!!! Good luck, who knows what car may find its way on to your driveway.

My other car is a 1959 Desoto Convertible. She is the model for my husband's 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. He is using her to make new pieces for Toothless (he calls her Rusty, but she will be painted black and the name fits her).

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site.

I don't hate the older Mopars when Chrysler actually knew how to make cars

I too am guilty of being a car nut and have a '35 Dodge Bros Coupe and a homemade altered rail that is Dodge based. I love most all types of American muscle. Welcome aboard.

Thumbs up No favouritism here.

My slant 6 powered D200 crewcab was one of my all time favourite American vehicles. So was my mk6 Lincoln.
I have owned 10 American vehicles, 4 of which were Oldsmobiles and 4 were Olds powered.
Anyone who looks after their wheels and takes pride in ownership is a credit to the old car scene IMO.
Roger.

Along with my Cutlass, I also own a Mopar as well as an AMC and a Chev.
I think most car guys like and respect other brands, even if they won't admit it.

Welcome aboard! As you can see from my signature, I wandered over from Moparts earlier this year when I bought a '71 Cutlass Supreme convertible. I've lusted after that car since waaaaay back when I was driving a '75 Cutlass in high school. Later this year, I picked up a '75 Hurst/Olds project. Just like Mopars, you can't stop at owning just one.

Mopars Yes, Chebbys No!

I think that we can all agree that we love Mopars here. If you love a Chebby, then that might just be a problem!

Welcome to the Classic Oldsmobile Forum. You will find good information and great people here!

[chebby; Mexican lingo for Chevy. Antonio drove his chebby to da border.]

Hey now i miss my 6 speed 95 caprice lol. But like everyone else on here Olds (a-bodies especially) are the thing for me.

Favorite Mopar has got to be a 73 Challenger for some reason, and of course in plum crazy purple.

I love Mopars too. Always wanted a late 60's Charger or GTX but haven't got there yet. Wife has a 08 300C which we love, I had an 06 Magnum R/T I sold recently and bought a RAM truck to replace it. Wish I could have kept the Magnum though too. Never enough room or money for all the toys!

I always considered 1974 to be the cut-off for Mopars. They still made cool cars in '74.
