Ok, so i`m new. Having trouble finding my way around this site. Anyway, i own a 73 regency coupe,a 83 delta coupe,a 97 delta and several olds powered sleepers. And i guess i`m old as water. Been building street iron for near 60 years.

Welcome from another member that has been around a long time. Notice I didn't say I was old. I have just been around a long time.

Actually, there's no such thing. Olds last used "Delta" in "Delta 88" for the 1988 model year. From 1989 forward to the end of production in 1999, the 88 line was called simply "Eighty-Eight." I'll bet your car doesn't have the word "Delta" anywhere on it.

The name change is described here.

Can we see photos of these cars?

Thanks for the welcome, been dealing with a weather issue. Somebody is right, my 97 isn`t a Delta, Ordered it 12- 96, took delivery 4-97 with 4 miles on it, 5th new Olds since `73- same dealership. 48 oil changes and 192,300 miles later still get 22 MPG.--- UNLESS I ROMP ON IT----another 7,50O MILES, I think I will pickle it and barn store it along with the other iron; let the grandkids figure out what do them. Of note, in case anyone wonders, the letters after EIGHTY-EIGHT ARE LSS..

Not good with camera, will see if granddaughter can help. Stay safe
