Agreed !!

Although the turquoise interior is beautiful and looks great up against a white Delta.

With regards to the engine it should be and can only be a 425, and available hp range was 300-375.

Here below to familiarize yourself with the engine, from fellow member and Moderator 2blu442.

Here's a closeup of the 1967 425 casting number. Note the large "D" at the end

Here's the vin pad on the 1967 425. There is no vin stamped in it as this didn't begin until 1968, but this is an idea where it's located on the 1968 and newer.

The engine unit number appears to be stamped incorrectly. By that I mean in all 1967 V8 engines there is supposed to be a prefix letter stamped followed by the unit number of that engine type and followed sometimes by a suffix letter. I do not see a prefix letter in the stamping but what looks like a letter "P" is stamped following the unit number. Since there are no letter "P" as suffix letter noted in the 1967 engine chart attached, it makes me wonder if it was stamped incorrectly. A letter "P" as prefix with no suffix letter indicates a 425 2bbl high compression engine; see the attached chart copied out of the 1967 Chassis Service Manual. Also, if you have the Protect-O-Plate we can help you decode that item.
