Hello, I'm a new member and recently purchased a 54 Super 88 that had been sitting in a barn since 1974. Had to cut trees down to open the barn door. I've had old cars most of my life and grew up with Oldsmobile being the family vehicles al of my life. I run a restoration shop in Maine and have been repairing cars for more than 45 years. I hope I can be of some technical help in the future.
I'm looking for parts always and have some decent resources if needed.

1. They might be too large. If they are, I recommend this program to make them smaller:

2. Don't upload them here, anyway. Upload them to a free, image-hosting site like flickr, photobucket, picasa, etc., and then either post a link to that album here or post a link to the actual photos here by right clicking on the image at the hosting site, choosing "copy image location," then coming back here and clicking on the little mountain icon up above () and pasting that link into the space provided. I used this method just now, in fact, to include the little icon image in the previous sentence.
I use #2 all the time, and it puts the actual image into the posting, not just a thumbnail of it.

I have to get the before opening barn shots from my nephew. I was too busy frothing at the bit to get in at the cars. Grabbed a 64 Chevy Belair with the Olds that only had 39000 miles at the same time. Sold that sucka right away and pretty much paid for the 54.

Very impressive. I haven't seen many barn finds that cleaned up that nicely. How did the interior do. I can remember we had some family friends when I was a kid that bought a new 54 Olds just like this one. I can remember riding in it a few times. Their prior car was a 50 Hudson which they kept. Remembering this makes me realize I have always been a car nut. I was 8 years old in 1954.
