1071 Cutlass - topless "Marilyn"

Hello. I'm originally a classic boat guy who just acquired his first classic car. So, here's the overview:
  • "Marilyn" - (my girls named her, what can I say)?
  • 1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible
  • V8, 350
  • Bucket Seats
  • Purchased her as a "driver"
  • Gonna take her up a few notches condition-wise
  • Definately looking to buy again
  • Will need help from ya'll - and thank you in advance

Greg

Thanks. Gonna be a fun car to tinker with. Hey, from your profile I see you're a Michigan guy. I grew up in Jackson.

No sir. In GA (Atlanta area). Good to connect as I will have a number of questions (if you're willing) as I get into this car. Got pics of yours?

Thanks Darrell. I'd like to see pics of your Rivi. Man, I got a feeling about one of them... My brother and I both really like those... Just need to get my car barn built first!

Mark, I just became active on this site last summer after buying a rough 70 Vista Cruiser that needs a lot of stuff. I never put pics of my conv or the vista on yet. Don't really have any good digital pics of them. But after I get them out in the spring-(you remember snow and salt- don't you?) I plan to get some pics and post them. My conv is also blue I believe code 24 which maybe the same color as yours. Mine has a bench seat, dark blue interior. I'm not a expert in these cars but will be happy to help if I can. There are some experts on this site, You'll like it.

Welcome to the site! That's a sharp "driver" ya got there. Up here, that's a show car! I'm thinking the family is gonna enjoy a few nice summer-evening ice cream runs this year

Best of luck and enjoy it!
