From Birch Run, Michigan - 67 Delmont 88
I bought my first classic car last August (2012) and I knew that eventually I would need to be searching for parts that might not be easily available from the local parts stores... so I am hoping that Web sites such as ClassicOldsmobile.com will provide me guidance when needed.
The car, I was told when I bought it, has had a pretty quiet life. My wife replied to the seller with "That easy life will be over now that Dennis bought it!" Within two months I had added about 2,000 miles. I hope to add more... if I can keep it running!

Nice-looking car! I have a '67 Delta 88 convertible, which is very similar to yours but with some differences. What engine is in your car? I have a 425 in mine, which was the only engine you could get in a Delta 88 that year, but your car could have come with either a 330 or a 425.
I see you have some rust along the lower part of the driver's side door. Body and trim parts for these cars have to come from donor cars. Post specific needs on this site as people on here occasionally have stuff.
Most engine/drivetrain/brake parts are pretty easily gotten. You say "if you can keep it running." What problems are you having? If you have already put 2000 miles on it, you can't be having too much in the way of trouble.
I'll knock on wood as I say this, but my engine starts at a touch of the key and idles, cruises, and accelerates beautifully and with that glorious Oldsmobile rumble. I did rebuild the carburetor when I got the car back in 2009. Other than that, just basic tune-up stuff.
