67 Delmont - 1st Run Around Town

Finally got to drive the car around town a little today. The TH400 has 3 speeds (thank goodness) but shifts too early (will need to adjust the modulator because of lower vacuum I suspect). No rattles (other than the glass packs sounding like they should) and it goes, stops, steers and generally runs nice. Now it's a matter of wet sanding, buffing, and pin stripping to finish the exterior. I'll wait to put the trim rings on until the T/A radials are on the car. It looks pretty good without them....

Then there's lots of interior work and a little electrical work. I also installed a switch under the hood that cuts all power. I always disconnected the battery on my old cars and this will be a little easier.

Although it was sunny today the picture is so so.

Definitely needs the Batman logo on the doors and the hood.
