Better Late Than ...
Hey, gang.
I should have joined here years ago, as I've had Oldsmobiles since my teens and I'm 53 now. Not that I really seek them out; they just seem to follow me home. At various intersections in my life, I've owned two '64 Cutlii, a '67 Delta 88, a '65 Dynamic 88, a '67 Cutlass, '67 and '68 442s, and an '83 Cutlass Cruiser wagon (albeit powered by a Chevy 305). My current obsession (for the last dozen or so years) is a pretty nifty '69 442 convertible. Hence the handle. Hope the avatar picture turned out.
Anyway, in the threads I've read so far, I'm impressed by the high levels of knowledge combined with a helpful attitude displayed by many of the members here. I've followed and enjoyed Joe Padavano's work on other sites, but a lot of people here really seem to know their stuff. Also, they don't seem afraid to call out those who don't.
So I look forward to soaking up some new knowledge (as well as contributing wherever I might be useful), comparing notes and maybe even doing a little bench racing.
See ya out there!
-- Andy.
PS -- I see the avatar didn't work. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Welcome to this site! There are lots of people here who know and understand the '69 A body. Questions get answered correctly and promptly which really makes this site the best, in my opinion. Have fun with your '69!

Welcome to the forums, My old Boss moved to Vancouver Island,
I havent heard of your hometown, however , I am aware of the more famous sprout in Europe I believe it is in Belgium!

( you mean you never heard of Brussle Sprouts?)
Just kidding..
Sorry, that kind of day, Anyway, Welcome again, I also have a 69 vert 4 speed cutlass S, undergoing, what seems like an eternal resto LOL
Eddie
The car's a driver (even though I only managed to put about 300 miles on it this year) -- the picture just shows it covered up for its winter hibernation.
Welcome to the site. People on here are very knowledgeable and helpful. Probably the problem you're having with pics is they're too big. I got the same security code message when my pics were too big. (pixel size or something like that).
I've had no issue posting them elsewhere, but I'll look into it. Thanks.

Great to see yet another islander here! Hope to see your car at some of the local events this summer, looks wonderful.
For those who don't know, Sproat Lake is home to the Martin Mars water bombers.

Thanks, guys.
VI, let me know if you're going to any specific events this season, and maybe we can arrange to cross paths.
Allan, thanks for reminding me about the shroud seals. I'd forgotten. I'm just glad you didn't get on me about the master cylinder or the fact that my engine paint turned out more gold than bronze!
