Best Convertible Top

Hello!

I am in the market for a new convertible top. Who makes the best quality authentic reproduction convertible top?

Thanks,

Jeff Nosich

Hi. I just put a top on my '69 442. For years I had planned on buying the top from Legendary but I recently read a great post on the V8 Buick forum regarding the best top manufacturers for our cars. The recommendation was for Electron Top. I hadn't heard of them and did some research. Then when I talked to my installer, he also said he'd only do it if I agreed to use the top from one of his recommended manufacturers. That turned out to be Electron Top. He finished the job and it came out great and the top is definitely of high quality. Every bit as good (probably better) than the original.
Good luck.

Robbins and Kee are quality tops. I put a Robbins top on my car back in the 90s and have a have a Kee top in the garage for the next installation.

I also used Electron. Same deal with the installer. It's been 5 years now and it's holding up well.

I used Kee for both of my cars. If you have an upholstery shop install it, be sure to ask them first what they like as the one where I had my tops installed would not touch certain brands.

X3, I had my 70 Cutlass convertible done a couple years ago. Fits like a glove.
