after going back and forth on my top install i decided to leave it to the pros ,i got prices from three different installers they are all in the $1800.00 range which includes top ,pads, rear glass window, well liner ,and labor .they all insist on electron tops which i hear are very good .anyone with expierience with this manufacturer?none of them want to be responsible for installing materials i buy and bring to them .i did some research and the materials for electron materials comes to around 800 dollars.which is quite a bit higher than many online sellers .could this be one of those("you get what you pay for " ) deals ?

 

I went to see a convertible top installer nearby my house and he also deals with Electron tops. When I was there, he finished doing a 70 Chevelle and working on a 69 GTO top using Electron. The owner of the Chevelle let me sit inside his car while I was checking out the quality and the workmanship. The quality looks very good and pretty soon Im going to do my top in a couple of weeks.
