Hello. I'm happy to be here. This is my first time joining a board so I expect this will take some time to figure out. I've owned my car since 81.
It's a 69 Cutlass S convertible currently in for paint. Yes it will come out
of the booth as a 442 Tribute car. Does anyone have a template for the
442 badges ? Any help will be appreciated.

Jeff's car is currently being painted by the same fellow who looked after my 87 olds 442 last winter. It should turn out fine.

I was the designated "Keeper " of the 69 442 fender template. BUT someone else here now has it. I'm sure they'd let you use it

 

I would take very good care of it and send it on it's way to the next home when asked.

Thanks! I bought that probably 12 years ago and just fit it to the car last summer. It's a Thornton product. Really happy with the fit, it basically dropped on and closed. The car is in for paint. I'm on the fence deciding if I have the stripes painted on or just leave it alone to speak for itself.

 

I'm excited to be part of the board. For years I've hovered as a guest on other sites looking for the best source of parts or just getting inspired to
do better work on my own car. I liked what I saw here so I joined.
