Hello. I'm happy to be here. This is my first time joining a board so I expect this will take some time to figure out. I've owned my car since 81.
It's a 69 Cutlass S convertible currently in for paint. Yes it will come out
of the booth as a 442 Tribute car. Does anyone have a template for the
442 badges ? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Larry. I'm hoping to learn from the board and help too where I can.
I'll have pics soon of the body work and interior restoration. Really
looking forward to the car season starting.

Welcome Jeff. Add your location to your profile.

Jeff's car is currently being painted by the same fellow who looked after my 87 olds 442 last winter. It should turn out fine.

Hi Dave. I'll go back to the profile set up and figure out how to add that info. I'll collect some pics to post too. Hopefully it all works.

I was the designated "Keeper " of the 69 442 fender template. BUT someone else here now has it. I'm sure they'd let you use it

Thanks! I bought that probably 12 years ago and just fit it to the car last summer. It's a Thornton product. Really happy with the fit, it basically dropped on and closed. The car is in for paint. I'm on the fence deciding if I have the stripes painted on or just leave it alone to speak for itself.

I'm excited to be part of the board. For years I've hovered as a guest on other sites looking for the best source of parts or just getting inspired to
do better work on my own car. I liked what I saw here so I joined.
