Smile Advice

Hi, looking to buy a 1987 442 and cannot decide on which one.
One has t-tops and loaded, and in great condition. The other one is in perfect shape all original, low miles but no t-tops?

T tops are fun but I have not seen one that will not start to leak.

As much as t-tops are nice for cruising, a low mileage, perfect shape and original is hard to pass up. (think fewer hassles).

I agree. T-Tops are cool, but they can become a huge pain in the rear. They are also notorious for rust issues. Good luck and post pics on the one you get.

Stay away from T tops unless you live in a place where it never rains and have a garage to store it in. Otherwise go with the other car.

I would jump all over that car with the T-tops like a guy with a mullet on a Van Halen cassette!

Buy them both.

T-tops always leak. So if I had to decide I would say no to the T-tops.

My thoughts as well. T-tops are way cool!
However, thieves like them too...

I didn't think of that. I always put a club on my car (just in case).

Well, at least you won't have to go to the barber and get a mullet since you are buying the car without T-tops. In OK it is required by law to have a mullet when you drive a car with T-tops or an 80s Chevy Camaro.
