Accelerator pedal attachment

I've got a 69 olds cutlass.. Does anyone know what the part is called that keeps the gas pedal attached to the firewall? I know it's just a piece of plastic with 2 screws that keeps the linkage from dealing down but I can't find it anywhere on any sites. I figured you guys would definitely kkw

Are you talking about the square molded plastic pivot base that the accelerator fits into? Of course there's also a metal cover that goes over that. This is not normally a wear item, so I doubt anyone repros it. It should be the same on every 1968-72 A-body that GM made.

It is part of the accelerator cable and not removable. Fusick lists the accelerator cable (4bbl) for $49.50.
