AC and hoses
Hello
I have an Oldsmobile cutlass 1971 with a 1977 ish 350 engine.
The AC is disconnected. And i notice there is two thick hoses och from the intake and one from the water pump who are connected to the firewall just beside the old AC. My question is.
What are those for?
Is it somehow related to my disconnected AC?
In that case, can i remove them?

These are the hoses to/from your heater core under the dash.

The hoses go to the two in/out pipes in the left of the box:

You can get an A/C delete panel if you want to remove all the bulk under the hood but keep heat. Does require removing the inner fender to get the evap unit out though. Just save the parts if you ever want to go back to factory style A/C.
