'75 Olds Cutlass Supreme
Newbie here. My son and I have the opportunity to pick up a '75 Olds Cutlass Supreme from my in-laws property in North Dakota. Car has been kept in a garage since last driven. Taking it off their hands at no cost to us. So I am curious what type of engine upgrades or swaps can be done to this relatively easily. I use to turn wrenches for a living back in the day so not beyond doing it myself if a relatively straightforwad drop in or swap. Im not fabricating anything though. Thanks!

Welcome! Depending on body/frame condition, you should have a good vehicle to work with. A lot of people here can give you options, from stock to rad, depending on your intent and pocket depth.... Friends in Colorado even race their 75 Cutlass 4 door at the strip!
The 73-77 aren't all that in demand, but they are fun cars to have and drive, and almost always get a lot of attention, as they're not seen that often.
Your car probably has a 350, though a 455 and maybe a 260 5spd was available. Lots of space under the hood makes it easy to work on..but watch the hood latch!!
Suggest you provide as much info as you can on the car as it is now, (including vin and body tags), and what you'd like to do with her.. 75s have catalytic converters, but they can be modified for dual exhaust. Body and trim parts can be difficult to get. The experts here can advise on engine upgrades.
Oh, and everyone here likes pics..lots of pics.. Here's a pic of my 74 Salon, which is almost the same as 75.

^^^ Agree, with the proviso that the 260 wasn't available until the following year so that won't be a consideration. But the advice to evaluate what you have before committing to a swap is good. Most probably it's a 350 with a possibility of a 455, but in either case it can likely be made to run as well as anything you might replace it with.
