73 Cutlass Project

Hey, new to the forum and rebuilding a 73 Cutlass S. Pretty much extinct in my area of Ontario. A lot of Supremes, a few 442s but no S models. I guess the great white north ain't so great for these cars.

i had a 73 s. I wish i never sold it. It was midmight blue, black vinyl top and interior with swivel buckets. I purchased in 1989 for $500 and sold in 1992 for $750. never to be seen again.

Mines Crystal Green, buckets swapped in from a 74, not the swivels though and transplanted a 69 350 engine. Got the posi to put in yet. Looks like you traded up nicely with the SX. Never saw too many convertibles in that trim line.

Welcome aboard. I had a 74 Cutlass Salon with a 442 hood. I painted mine midnight blue with a black landau top. Thats the one I regret getting rid of the most.

The only pictures I've got are older and I'll try to upload an album shortly. The work on the car is slowing down with the weather turning crappy up here near Toronto.

Welcome!

I bought my cutlass near Ottawa ontario, Ajax is definitely a little bit out there.

Weather is 1 degree Celcius here in Montreal. My cutlass is inside for now (it's also an 'S' model).

Yes, welcome aboard! Cool to see another '73 still out there. As stated, they're hard to come by let alone being seen on the road or at car shows.

I purchased a '73 S rolling chassis project a few weeks ago in order to remove the windshield and rear glass defogger. After looking the car over and noting a good amount of the hard to find '73 parts were still on the car, I decided to keep it intact and not part it out or scrap it.

Another Rocket saved as far as I'm concerned.

Looking forward to seeing your car and it's progress.
