72 Cutlass Keeper for sure

OK , newbie here with a 72 Cutlass. Just got it running after it sat for 6 years (garage ) . Got it out but has a brake issue, power booster/master was leaking and nasty looking. I tried several local and good parts places but no luck finding OE type booster/MC. Want to get correct "gold" delco-morain booster and master w/2 bleeders.
Is there anyone that will tell me honestly what their part looks like?
Also want real "made in USA" parts, not assembled in USA or some other
vague description without telling me the truth. I didn' t keep this thing for 41 years to not keep it "correct", My take off is very badly pitted. All I want is correct looking, functional booster and master cylinder so we can get our ride back on the street. thanks for any ideas, hopefully I can get a picture posted soon.

Welcome, pics are required!

OPGI, Yearone, possibly your local Chevy dealer, or any of the resto places. would be able to help you out.

Welcome to the site! If you want to make sure its a made in USA part you could have your booster rebuilt. I haven't seen a new master with the brake bleeders on it for years. But you may be able to hone yours and install new rubber parts if you want to keep that look as well.

Most get brake boosters rebuilt and replated, but you need to start with one that isn't badly rusted/pitted. Pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News that will have a good list of vendors and sources for parts and services for Oldsmobile (as well as other makes). You can get one at good bookstores in their magazine section. It is like a small phone book.

OK, am looking strongly at the rebuild route. Looks like a lot of owners go that way to keep them OE. Found one in OR (dewey), 2 in CA (Bboosters) and
Karps (only one who does both booster + mc). Any thoughts on these
suppliers?? Service, reliability, how are they to deal with. Would appreciate any help as this is a major expenditure to keep this OE/USA. THANKS

Try Inline Tube if the rebuild route does not work out. Think they have a repop plated and stamped like OEM.
