Putting my 350 back together need pics or diagram it had ac I took that out have top bracket. Power steering to alternator is a gap what go's n between. Thanks

 

In 1972 there was a sleeve spacer that goes over the bolt. Here's a couple photos. The first shows the stud used the second is with the spacer over the stud. John

Sorry, I immediately thought of the spacer down low on the power steering pump. I didn't think the 1972 brackets shared any parts, but maybe I'm getting the years mixed up. Does your setup look like this? If so, do you have the stock intake? Do you have the spacer between the side of the block and the lower power steering bracket? Do you have the spacer I previously posted pictures of? If you have something like these photos there should be no space between the two brackets, so I'm thinking something else is throwing them out of alignment. John
