71 olds holiday cutlass
Hello .my name is Juve and i have been researching this site since i bought my 71 in sept 2012.
Ran into someone (in july) selling his 1970 #s matching silver 442 w-25 hardtop ,for WAY MORE ,than i can afford , .and that;s what got me here.
I starting looking for one on the net and finally found one.It was all apart,,body off,no fenders, hood,no motor or trans .frame was apart and solid. interior is rough(nice dash)black dash, white interior.originally nordic blue code 24,
The floors are solid and original, cowl solid , rear half qaurters were done and possible trunk also. .
I have since sent it to bodyshop for prepp, and am currently working on the frame , etc ,so i can get the body assembled, and painted,I will do the rest that i can.
Ps my dad had a 72 cutlass s in 1974 .350 2 brl , so this project brings back memories. I AM REALLY LEARING A LOT FROM THE EXPERIENCE ON HERE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE MEMBERS.
Now let me post some pics!!

Welcome aboard!
Looks like there's a lot of time and $$ already involved in that project. Nice to work with clean new parts isn't it? BTW, ALL the areas where your bushing go on the CA's and diff will need to be cleaned of all that paint before you install them or it will be a real PITA.
Are your plans for the car to go back stock or clone it? The color on the cowl looks like "palm green" - PNT code 42
Any chance you can post a pic of the cowl tag?

clone
Gonna bring it back close to original.not sure on color yet.painter had some leftover paint and jammed it that color for testing me out.
Doesn't look bad(similar to tahitian tourquiose)
Going with white interior ,black dash,console.carpet.switching to buckets
(have them)need recovering.
Found a 425 big block for it ,from a 66 toro,complete,recently rebuilt,.no
bracketry .Also found a rebuilt 350 trans for it,
so yeah$$$ and TIME needed.
Ps ALLAN,I know what you mean pita ,on the bushings, all done though.!!!
