71 olds 442, restoration project
hey ya'll, ive had 71 olds 442 in a garage for a long time and its finally time to restore it. Ive never done such a extensive project before so im going to be looking to fellow enthusiasts for some ideas and help. I'm starting to research products for the suspension and brakes. I think thats where I'm going to start. If anyone has any good ideas or knowledge on the subject, any and all advice would be very helpful.
Thanks, Jack

I bought it 2006, used it as a daily driver/only car for a year or so. its in relatively good condition, guy told me it was rebuilt 3000 miles before i bought it. Its mostly stock but has a holley street avenger carb and some interior work, all done by previous owner. Its the 455 with a TH400 tranny. yellow with black stripes and black vinyl top. Originally I think it was that ugly green, the yellow paint job looks pretty cheap, you can see the green in hidden areas. I don't know much about the history, the guy i bought it from lived in san mateo CA, and he bought it from a close friend of his I think in the same general area. not sure how many people had it before them.
