70 toro/buckets console


is it uncommon to have buckets and a console i never see that any where

I also have never seen one with this configuration , where is this car located? I wonder how many had the buckets and console options added?.

I thought it was available on the GT, but I'd bet it is pretty rare

buckets console.bought in WPG /in Sudbury ON now

bought in Winnipeg Manitoba by a lady( her check book is still in the console) My grand father bought it off her in 1971. I have had it for 10 years approx 44 000 miles on it

Very sharp Toro, do not remember seeing a '70, let alone with the a-body buckets/console.

RPO A51 (Strato Buckets) and RPO D55 (Sports Console) were readily available options on Toros. Yes, both Toros and full size cars with buckets and console used the same parts at A-body cars. The Toro console used an additional bolt-on piece on the bottom to fit it to the flat floor. The Chassis Service Manual even shows this.
