66 dynamic 88 convertible

I recently traded some work for this car from a buddy of mine. It sat in a barn for almost a decade. I put new points in it, a basic Carb rebuild, and cleaned up the tank. It fired up no problems. Then I put new belts, hoses, waterpump, brakes, and tires on her. Then I drove it 300 miles home. It has a 425 2 barrel. Driver's side fender is mashed. Truck is rotted. Some rust behind back tires. Needs a new top and interior. Otherwise it's all there and in decent shape.
I am a glass caster and luxurious glass is hard to sell these days. I don't know that I'll have the money to make this car what it needs. I'd like to keep it, but in the event I have to sell it, how much do I ask? Thank you.

I totally agree. I've always been a Ford guy but this car really is ****. Just don't know if I can afford it. By the way, I did between 85 and 90 the whole way;-)

Wow thats impressive, well if you can get away with doing most of the work yourself then you'll save a ton of bread.

A car with rust like you describe would definitely fall into the "needs full restoration" category. The Old Cars Price Guide lists the value of a 1966 Dynamic 88 convertible in #4 condition (runs and drives, but needs total restoration) at $3,600.

Collector Car Price Review lists a value for this car in this condition at a more pessimistic $2,800. Based on these two sources, probably somewhere around $3,000.
