400 rebuild

Hello Everyone. I'm picking up a '72 Cutlass Convertible. 350 4spd. buckets. A running driving solid car. It does need quarters, and body work, but floors & trunk floor are in great shape. Owned a few '70-72 models back in the '80's & '90's . Restored a '72 from a junk Chicago daily driver, in '91. Cloned it into a 442, from 1 donor car and parts from YearOne catalog when it was stapled Xerox copied paper!
I'm picking up, a 400 CID, out of a '66 442.
I'll slowly going to rebuild it to a nice little screamer!
i prefer them old 400's or 425's. I had 350's & 455's, in my Cutlass's back then . A friend had a '70 442, w/ 4spd, and '66 400 engine.
His car was so much more fun with that 400 under the hood!
Thanks for reading guys! Will keep you posted on the build.
I'm happy to be back in the Oldmobile world, been a long time.
