1985 Cutlass Brougham
Hello My name is Jason. I'm from Bakersfield, California. I recently purchased a 1985 Cutlass Supreme Brougham for $900. Its a V-8 with 61 thousand miles on it. I'm 32 and this is my first Oldsmobile, so far I like what I see.

Great score! For the price it was a steal it it moved under its own power!
My mom had an 86 in burgundy - I miss it...
Is yours the brougham? Looks like you have power windows so it should be fairly well optioned.
Looks like tots of potential. These were very well riding cars. I travelled around lots in one.

Nice survivor you have - seems very unmolested.... It even has the original radio!!
Is the interior burgandy? Looks like it.
The paint on the mid 80's cars was not durable at all, so the bad paint does not surprise me.
Does it run well? Pass emissions?

I like it, nice car!!
I paid $900 for my 1985 Delta as well. We should start a club![Big Grin](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I love the 4 door Cutlasses of the 80's better than the the 2 door and all the 4 door Cutlasses around here are V6 cars

That struck me, too. $900 for a 61,000 mile car. That's a steal. The interior looks pretty good, too.
Yes, it's a four-door, but four-doors can be cool, and interest in them seems to be rising, especially since, as we've just seen, they can be had for relatively less money.

Not that one would wish someone to die, but this is often a very good way to get a car. It might have sat for a while, which isn't the greatest for it, but it was indoors and apparently had only one owner all its life. It hasn't been molested or re-wired in some funny way by someone who didn't know what they were doing or who knows what. Its history is apparently well-documented.
Good find and good save!
