1980 Delta 88 Royale sales question

I have a Delta 88 Royale sedan that runs and drives that I am trying to sell. However, do not have a clue about market value and the "sellability." I have attached the V.I.N sticker so that it may help

answer build data. Any advice would be great.

We are short of pictures to put a good value on it! It decodes having a 350 engine, IMO green is not a color that is desirable! There is a guy that has 4 door that is a brougham and after a 1.5 years on craigslist, he has dropped down $1100 to $2400 and will probably sell for less.

Prices vary a lot around the country. Check out what the prices are in your area. The year of the vehicle is most important. A 1980 Ford in that good of condition would sell for about the same price.

Give it a good wash and wax before trying to sell it. I can tell it had trim down the side that was removed.

You might also try repairing the tail light.

The Old Cars Price Guide values this car in this condition in the $2000 to $2500 range. Seems very reasonable as this era of Oldsmobile is not in demand by collectors. Most potential buyers would look at it as simply a used car. You might get lucky and find someone who grew up with one of these in the driveway and wants one for sentimental reasons.

We need far more info to offer an informed opinion. Values of these cars can vary from $1000 to $10,000. I've bought three of these within the last few years (my wife loves them). One had 60,000 miles for $2700. One had 100,000 miles but had new paint and a custom leather interior. I paid $2900. The most recent was a car with 5,100 miles on it (yes, five thousand) that I bought for $8,000.

Excellent advise unless you want to 'fire sale' it. In that case I'll give you $500. What is your zip code so I can figure shipping? Oh and a video to hear the engine running and some interior shots of the seats and headliner. remember, with little information - you asked first.
