Yes, sir. Tucson. I've lived all over the US as a soldier and civilian, and I am never leaving here.

How about you?

Cool car. I love the silver. I would LS that car in a minute. Mothball the 403 and keep moving. Or keep it the way it is and enjoy it that way too. Super cool car. Absolutely love it in silver.

Sir, thank you. I've heard that in order to LS a car like that would cost a lot of money. I can't afford it. I'll probably just get it repainted and re-decaled and call it a day, you know?

Welcome from up north in Phoenix. I see a Wrangler in the garage. I have one too and do a bit of off-roading.

Thanks! I used to live in Phoenix, near Camelback Mountain. Man was it hot there.

Do they still have the speedtraps there? I used to love watching people who didn't know about those "automatic tickets" blow by me.

The Jeep is pure utilitarian, and fun in the cholla forest. Where do you go off roading?

Hey brother. Don't repaint it. I love it as is. Keep it that way.

It's got that crummy California Van Nuys paint on it; dull, miserable. It doesn't shine like the good Ohio cars had. I wash it, keep it out of the sun, but it's still not like it should be.

Saving up money to get it thoroughly repainted and re-decaled. I think it will cost around 20-30K.

Keep it as is. Don't rush the repaint. It is respected more as is. Arizona heat. Keep the silver. Super cool car.

Dunno about the speed traps as that’s way out of my neighborhood.

I go off-roading all over. Table Mesa and Crown King (north of Lake Pleasant), Florence Junction area, Four Peaks area, out near Globe, Payson area - basically wherever there’s trails and camping.

Not to sound obsequious, but you own one of the most gorgeous cars Oldsmobile ever made.

Speaking of which, would you know how to get a 1970 Olds 350 Head? I'm told it would make my 403 increase it's compression.

No need to be that specific. Any of the pre-1973 SBO heads would work (350 and 330). The 350 heads all have similar specs and the same size combustion chambers and any of them would increase the CR on the 403 engine.
1968-1969 = #5
1970 = #6
1971 = #7
1972 = #7A (with a small capital A)

There are some differences with the earlier 330 heads that have 45º cam bank angle, and they would require a bit of work,but if you stumble across a set don't discount them.
