1972 olds cutlass s
I have a 1972 cutlass s i am putting a console shifter in it. I have the console but am currently bidding on the shifter will this one work a th350 and is it correct for a 1972

Go for it. Like to see how it turns out. Sounds like you have a fair bit of work ahead of you. Mandatory changing the seats to buckets. You planning to change your speedo gage to a floor mount and put in a proper steering column?
Please post pics of your car as you continue with this work in progress. There are lots of guys here with experience on converting the column to console shift. When you're ready to begin, start a new thread under the appropriate build section so we can all watch your car take shape. Good luck with your project.
