1972 Cutlass Supreme
Hello,
Just joined this site, and picked up this 72 Cutlass Supreme in February. So far, I've put in stock rear springs, boxed trailing arms, sway bar, rear brakes, and got it running. Lot's to do yet, but little by little, getting it going. I see some really great cars here.
Listing Picture.
Just got it home. Sitting up way high in the back.
New springs in the rear.

That's a Moog 5385 spring set and can purchased at your local auto parts store for around $70 with no shipping. People needlessly buy a lot of mechanical parts from these resto venders that are easily available at your local auto parts store for less money.

Yeah, check with the local auto parts store first for stuff like brake, steering and suspension hardware, ignition parts, switches, sending units, and such. The automotive aftermarket supplied these parts for decades and still do. I go to resto houses only for things that are Oldsmobile specific that used to be available only from the dealership; everything else I get at the local parts stores. After looking them up online first, that is, so the counter clerk doesn’t give me the wrong parts.
