1971 Cutlass Convertible help

Good afternoon. I have just purchased a 71 convertible in the past three weeks. So far this forum has been helpful. I an trying to decode the body tag to see what I am suppose to have. I know it is a 350/350 trans convertible Cutlass Supreme. It has bucket seats but no console. Not sure if it would have come this way. Not sure if someone added the bucket seat brackets and seats. Have not pulled the carpet back yet. here is the body tag if someone can help

ST71 34267LAN221924

TR 977 42A pnt

112A

From what I can see the interior is suppose to be white ( 977 )

42??? A ( a=white top )

I can not find anything on the 112A

Thanks
Danny

Danny,
Correct on the interior color and top color. Here is a good link for information: http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-h...tion-kits.html just click "show" next to Oldsmobile. As for the 112A, you might want to check to make sure you didn't write down an extra number, that should be your "time built code" so if it is 12A, means it was built the first week of Dec. Not sure about the bucket seats, but I'm sure there's someone here to provide some insight. Nice car by the way. Jim

Thanks, I was hoping the Bucket seats were original to the car. In the near future I will be looking for a tilt floor shift column, speedo and console parts to add a console. The floor looks empty without a console in it.
Once again thanks for the help on the body tag. Anymore information would be helpful

When you ordered the automatic, the column shifter came with it, whether you had buckets or not. The console and floor shifter was an additional option on top of this, so yes, this was a factory-available configuration.

Hi I also have a 1971 convertible and am looking for a picture of the horn relay to get a look at wire colors and placement. If you get a chance it would really help me out of a jam
