1969 olds 442 dash parts
Hello I am new to this forum and I have recently purchased a 1969 olds 442 . I am very interested in learning as much as I can about the cars . The car I purchased I used to wash as a teenager and decided to get my feet wet with this old friend . I am looking for parts and advice as I am a new comer to the classic cars. Thank You

Welcome.
Pictures, please. Of the car and the parts you need.
Look at the toolbar above when your posting....the little twin peak mountains with the sun, right next to the smiley face. That's how you upload pics.
What parts are you looking for?
Place a want ad in the classified section here. Be sure to read the rules of the website first.

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your new 442. I have two '69's and am quite biased when I say I think they're the best. The best thing you can do is take a good inventory of the entire car; engine, trans, rear, suspension (front/rear), steering, brakes, etc. Figure out what you need right now for safety and reliability and what you want to replace or upgrade down the road.
Look for an original copy of the 1969 Chassis Service Manual (CSM) on eBay and other outlets. This and the factory assembly model (reproduced and available from multiple sources) will help you understand the car and how it comes apart and goes back together better than anything else.
I love the fact that you used to wash the car and have history with it. You likely know every blemish and scratch intimately!
