Arrow 1967 Heater Core installation Help

Does anyone have a link or a quick walk through on how to replace a heater core 67 Cutlas Supreme 330.No air Cond. When I purchased their was a new heater core in the trunk. No hoses however. So I'm not excactly sure how many hoses and where to lead them to. The car starts up fine and runs cool.No heat.
Thanks much!

Here's some old threads talking about swapping out the heater core in other years. Your 1967 should be very similar. Not a big project, but if you get into it and come up with any questions let us know. John

In response to the hose question, there should be two. One will run to the water pump passenger side, then the other to the rear of the intake also on the passengerside. If it would help I can post pictures of the hoses on my 1967.

If you decide to keep this car and work on it I'd strongly encourage you to pick up a 1967 Chassis Service Manual. There are a couple other books that will help, but this is the first one I'd get as it will show pictures, drawings and the steps to do many mechanical repairs.

Go to http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/ and sign up for a free account. They have pretty much all of the manuals for most Oldsmobile's (especially F85/Cutlass/442) and I think that the '67 collection has pretty much every assembly/service/factory manual you can think of. They are not step-by-step guides, but the pictures and exploded diagrams are pretty good and should at least point you in the right direction. Coupled with the other discussions on CO, you should have no trouble. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view the Wild About Cars manuals, also a free download if you didn't have it already.

CORRECTION: The Service Manuals on WAC are step-by-step My bad...

When you get the account, search for Factory Publications, the list is on the left-hand side, towards the top of the page. You can download them and view them later too and keep them in a library on your computer.

I am looking to start a restoration project on a '67 probably next spring so I downloaded all of the docs they had for 1967 and have been looking them over when I have some down time. Might want to think of doing the same.
