1965 f85 cutlass

I am not sure how to tell if my car is a true cutlass or the f 85 the dash says cutlass and the right fender has a cutlass tag the rear trim plate has f85 and the left front fender has the v 8 tage not really sure if there are other clues or if there all just the same any help would love to learn more about this car

Fenders, emblems, etc could have been changed over the last FOURTY SEVEN years due to accidents or rust. The VIN will tell you exactly what it is.

I have a very similar 1965 vehicle, convertible, provincial white, 330 cid, jet-a-way automatic, and it´s classified as an authentic Cutlass F -85. The VIN and body tag will tell you for sure.

64 is slightly different on some codes, for pics i use photobucket and a complicated method, i believe there is an easier way straight from your computer, maybe someone will chime in then we will both know

Unfortunately that only works for a car that was either built in or originally sold in Canada. The OP shows Utah as a location, so I suspect this is not a Canadian car.

the factory would have to pierce (cut a hole) in the firewall for air conditioning
