1965 cutlass hesatation off the line

Hello,my name is kelly and i own a 1965 cutlass 442 post car with a 455 engine,my problem is off the line the engine hesatates to the point of stalling if i dont come off the gas,i run a holley 750 dp also have the same problem with the 750 vac secondaries that i have any help would be very nice thank you kelly

Welcome - how about some pics!

What distrbutor are you running, whats your timing set to? Is it auto/ standard trans?

i am new to the sight i will put pictures up soon,i am useing a msd ready to run distributer it has a 350 turbo timing set around 12 deg

What are the spec's of the engine, cam/ compression, stall speed of the torque converter?

Check the excelerator pump on the carb if this is not working you will get hesitation.

He said it did it with 2 different carbs.

Hmm I see one carb and two hesitation one off the line and one when the vacuum secondaries kick in.

I believe it says it does the same thing with a DP'r and a vacuum secondary carb.
