1964 jestar and dynamic 88
Hi all, I'm in the beginning stages of restoring the 64 jestar 88. It was my grandfathers car that I drove in high school 40x years ago.
My question is wheel size. I see some spots say the jestar is 5x4.75 and the dynamic is 5x5? Little confused since they are basically
the same car The Dynamic is going to serve as a donor to the jestar.

The Jetstar 88 was a full size car with F-85 running gear.
The engine was a 330 and the trans was the 2 speed Jetaway.
The rear axle was a widened version of the F-85 rear, with 5 X 4.75 wheels.
The Dynamic 88 had a 394 engine and a Roto -10 trans.
The Dynamic 88 had a larger rear axle with 5 X 5 wheels.
If you're going to use a Dynamic 88 as a parts car, It will be useful mostly for body parts.
The drivetrain is different than a Jetstar 88
