Hey all, I'm in Minnesota, found a clean, CLEAN 61 Olds, needing a bit of work. I figured with two motorcycle projects and a 58 chevy truck that's stripped to a bare frame... why not? I'll ask a bunch of annoying questions, I'll try to remember the search function, and who knows, i might be able to help someone else out!
Woo hoo!! My favorite year full sized Olds! The '61s are so damn cool. Pinnacle mid-century modern. All the flash of the '50s and the sensibility of the '60s rolled into one. Congratulations! I hope you return it to stock, but that's just me.
Now is that considered a Bubble Top or is that something unfittin [sic] to say about an Oldsmobile?

how on God's green earth did you ever manage to find such a beauty? That car is in such good shape and here is another vote for one of Oldsmobile's most good looking vehicles. That color is great and the wheel choice is good for that car too!
