Try Fusick or USA Parts Supply

http://www.fusick.com/

http://www.usapartssupply.com/

Fusick has rebuilt ones for $189 as shown on page 37 of their "early olds" (#530) catalog. If you don't have a rebuildable core to return, add another $195 to this.

USA Parts Supply has them on page 10 of their Oldsmobile catalog. $289 plus a $100 core charge unless you have a core to return.

I see what you mean. My posting above was from 2.5 years ago. Since then, Fusick's #530 catalog has been updated to #550, and rebuilt brake boosters are $369 plus a $195 core. Prices have certainly changed since 2010.

USA Parts Supply, however, still shows them at the same price as in 2010: $289 plus a $100 core charge.

I also checked rockauto.com, and they show availability of a remanufactured power brake booster for a '60 98 for $216 plus a $300 core charge. Obviously, if you can return your old one after you get the new one, your net cost is $216 plus shipping.

I have a 60 98, and so does my friend. He needed a booster last month and I went and took one out of a parts cars, only to find they used two different boosters and master cylinders that year. The master cylinders do not interchange. There is a Bendix and a Moraine. Just thought I would let you know. Paul
