Hi everyone - I thought I'd done an introduction but can't find it kinda embarrassed because I'm either repeating myself or coming across as unschooled in the tools - either of which are quite possible!

I live in Australia and I've bought a 1950 88 sight unseen on ebay from Florida to take on a series of rallies over the next few years. If all goes to plan/vision/dream (take your pick) in total I hope it will take me around the world: from NY to LA, Australia, South East Asia, then Eurasia from Beijing across the old Silk Road to Europe.

The car has just arrived in Texas to go under the knife for a year or so before leaving New York in the 'Dustball 3000' in 2017.

I'm going to have a zillion questions to one and all and on every subject!

Here's a photo of the 'before' - hopefully it is basically sound.

I'll start a 'major builds & projects' thread.
