Model is sold!



I have for sale a original 1970 Olds 442 model kit. It is completely unbuilt with the original instructions in the original box. Looking at the instructions all the parts are still on the trees and everything looks complete. Box is in very good shape couple of creases in it but displays very nice. I have had it for 20 odd years just displayed in a case the whole time. Asking $150 OBO plus exact shipping Any questions PM me

That's one of the original 1970-issue kits. Not the later USA Oldies series. Neat find.

Built one unpainted since the mold color is close to Azure Blue, and several painted other colors. Tried to make a Rallye 350 but even after scuffing and priming the yellow didn't take too well over the blue plastic, esp around door and trunk lines. I can't remember if I ever finished the Rallye.

 

Box isa misleading, shows a ram air hood on box art but I see a flat hood on the actual model.
