Does any here repair or rebuild fuel pumps? Mine is leaking. Already tried tightening all the screws bolts. It’s for a 61 Oldsmobile dynamic 88. It has the deluxe heater attachment on it.

 

Go buy yourself a Hemmings Motor News. Usually sold at book stores. There are vendors that advertise in it that rebuild those pumps to modern gas specs.

 

I just rebuilt mine, it's the same one as your's. I found this guy on Youtube doing videos rebuilding many different ones and he sells the rebuild kits for them, rebuilds them and sells them. This video is of a unit that is very similar to the 61 and l got the kit from him and followed the build he did and managed to do mine.

Fusick also sells rebuilt pumps ready to go. Just have to send in the old one for a core.

Really not that hard especially if you see a good YouTube video and your computer is next to your vice. Not that many parts and once you understand what does what it's pretty simple...... Tedd
