Jim Beam Oldsmobile commemerative whiskey decanteur

Ok, so when i was getting it packed up and ready to ship out, the cork, wet from the alcohol since 1972 broke. So i contacted the buyer, who was very understanding. So what i will do now is drain the alcohol and offer it up for $75 plus shipping if anyone is interested.
Thanks

The Beam Curved Dash seems to be the most common car decanter. I have a couple of those. One real nice one, and the other one the seat/stopper got broken.

Got plenty of other hooch decanters too. Two of my favorites are a Rebel Yell Confederate soldier complete with saber

and a Beam "Ponderosa" decanter.

Did you try drinking the whiskey?
Fifty year old whiskey has to be either really good or really bad. I wonder which one?

Just checking once more to see if anyone was interested. Remember, it is now an empty bottle and the cork on the bottom of the seat is cracked.

Actually, it is best to drain these bottles as long term storage of this type of decanter, will cause the bottle to start cracking. In the collector world, this does not devalue the bottle. It is (I believe) illegal to ship these with the alcohol in them...though that might just be the practices of all of the major shippers.
